1-Temp THERMOLABEL®/THERMOTAB®

  1. Remove temperature label from sheet.
  2. Adhere to a clean surface. Press firmly and ensure that there is full contact with the test surface.
  3. Heat/run through procedure that is being tested.
  4. The gray/white temperature sensitive element will turn black if the surface has reached the rated temperature.
  5. Allow to cool to the touch before slowly peeling the temperature indicator label off the test surface to avoid leaving adhesive residue.

3-Temp/5-Temp/8-Temp THERMOLABEL®

5-Temp Thermolabel Test Strip

  1. Remove temperature label from sheet.
  2. Adhere to a clean surface. Press firmly and ensure that there is full contact with the test surface.
  3. Heat/run through procedure that is being tested.
  4. The gray/white temperature sensitive elements will turn black as the rated temperature is reached. The highest temperature reached will be between the last black temperature element and the first gray/white temperature element.
  5. Allow to cool to the touch before slowly peeling the temp strip off the test surface to avoid leaving adhesive residue.

THERMOPAPER®

  1. Affix temperature indicator strip on a clean surface.
  2. Heat/run through procedure that is being tested.
  3. The gray/white temperature sensitive element will turn to black if the surface has reached the rated temperature.

Performance Fabric THERMOLABEL®

  1. Remove label from sheet.
  2. Adhere to shirt surface next to print. Press firmly for full contact with fabric.
  3. Run test shirt through curing oven.
  4. The gray/white temperature sensitive elements will turn black as the rated temperature is reached. The highest temperature the fabric reached will be between the last black temperature element and the first gray/white temperature element. If necessary adjust oven and repeat test with a new label until correct curing temperature is reached.
  5. Allow to cool to the touch before slowly peeling the label off the shirt to avoid leaving adhesive residue.

Dishwasher Rinse Temp THERMOLABEL®

  1. Locate the rinse water pipe. It is typically a vertical pipe on the right side of the machine towards the rear.
  2. Remove temperature label from sheet.
  3. Apply to rinse water pipe carefully with the non-adhesive tab extended off pipe. The pipe will still be hot. Protect hands when applying to avoid burns.
  4. Run the machine's cycle as normal.
  5. The temperature sensitive square will turn black as the temperature is reached.
  6. Peel temp strip from pipe using the non-adhesive tab.

Motorsport Brake Caliper THERMOLABEL®

  1. Locate a smooth machined area on the face of each caliper and clean to remove all grease and dust. Allow surface to dry completely.
  2. Press firmly to adhere label.
  3. Run vehicle on track or street.
  4. The temperature sensitive elements will turn black as the rated temperature is reached. The highest temperature reached will be between the last black temperature element and the first unchanged temperature element.
  5. Allow to cool to the touch before slowly peeling the label off the caliper to avoid leaving adhesive residue.
